SAILLAT, France – Asterix, titular hero of French comic book fame, is celebrating 65 years of adventures with an elaborate feast. And thanks to a ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP partnership, readers can dine alongside him.
To mark the 65th anniversary of the Asterix series, ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP is partnering with prominent French publisher Hachette Livre to produce a special edition cookbook.
Following the hero in a fight against the Roman Republic, each Asterix adventure traditionally ends with a banquet. This special edition brings those meals to life.
The book, printed on Preprint E 100gr paper from ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP ’s Saillat, France, mill, features dish illustrations, followed by recipes curated by 40 different chefs.
The edition also supports , a charity that provides food and hot meals to individuals and families with financial difficulties.
Created in 1959, the popular Asterix series follows a village of Gaulish warriors battling the Roman Empire around the world. Aided by a magic potion, Asterix and his band of fighters resist Roman occupation during Julius Caesar ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP ’s reign.
